WHALES & DOLPHINS

ALL DOLPHINS ARE WHALES, BUT NOT ALL WHALES ARE DOLPHINS.....  Whales are divided into two groups;  toothed and baleen whales.  Baleen whales have no teeth, they use a baleen filter-feeder system to filter animals such as krill as a food source.  All dolphins are toothed, carnivores and are in the toothed whale family.   Porpoises are a family related to dolphins.
